Stewards Offers These Services:

* Organizational Assistance -- We can help interested individuals form spiritually-based environmental/social justice groups. We can provide information outlining our own experiences and what we have learned so far in in setting up and facilitating such a group.

* Ongoing Assistance -- We provide a weekly email service called Stewards Online Network. The purpose is to inspire, empower, and educate individuals to take action in the world. This consists of three parts:

Empowerment: An inspirational message of hope to empower individuals to make a difference in the world.

Education: A brief overview of an environmental or social justice issue with the intent of raising awareness, increasing clarity, and indicating direction for prayers and actions.

Action: Concrete ideas for action. We offer suggestions for action that can be done by individuals and groups. This could involve prayer, writing letters, signing petitions, suggestions for living more simply, etc.

Someone in each faith community would act as a coordinator to:

a) organize a group and subscribe to our e-mail service;
b) develop a database of email addresses of individuals in their group who are interested in learning about spiritually-based activism or eco/justice; and
c) forward our weekly email messages (CLICK for a sample) to them.
