"All That is Required for Evil to Succeed is for Good
Men to do Nothing" Edmund Burke
The path of least resistance is to do nothing and to complain
about the status quo. Will this change the world for the better? Definitely
not. Can love and positive actions improve the world? We think so. Jesus
taught, "Love your neighbor… and your enemies." Gandhi said, "Love force
is stronger than physical force," and he led the Indian people to freedom
from the British. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached, "Love is the greatest
force for change in the world," and he led the Civil Rights movement to
freedom from segregation and inequality. We too seek freedom - from oppressive
laws, irresponsible corporate practices, violence, racism, etc. Together,
we can take a stand for what life can and should be. It is time for the
power of prayer and meditation to come together with the power of creativity
and intentional actions to create a more compassionate society and promote
a sustainable future for all life.
"We are the ones we have been waiting
for" Hopi
Archimedes taught that with a strong enough force and
a long enough lever, we can lift anything. Our force is the collective
spiritual strength of millions of individuals with good intentions. Our
lever is our voices, actions and votes. Together, we can lift and transform
the consciousness of the planet. There is no stopping of an idea whose
time has come. The world is ready for spiritually based individuals to
join together and raise their collective voice for positive change. We
can and will create a more just, loving and compassionate society.
