Stewards Online Network: At Stewards
of the Earth, we believe one of the most significant services we can offer
is to set up a network providing connection, encouragement and support
for spiritually-based individuals who share a common concern for environmental
and social justice issues. This will be provided by a weekly e-mail service
which is described in our "services" section. The Steward's network offers
help with the three basic elements of our mission -- empowerment,
education, and motivation to action. The Internet is a perfect
tool for connecting individuals interested in global consciousness change.
We realize that we can be more effective at
dealing with problems if we work together
rather than alone and unsupported. We are eager to help faith-based groups,
and we are also aware of that segment of our population who are spiritual
individuals but are not connected to any specific church or faith community.
We also want to include these individuals in our network because we need
the talents and creativity of all people of faith and action.
