Fall Colors Canoe Excursion

Fall colors around the lake will be at their peak for this tour of the Paddy’s Creek cove by canoe. Park Superintendent Nora Coffey will lead this special tour that includes instruction on proper paddling techniques and entering and exiting a canoe. Pre-registration is required for the limited number of vessels available. Bring binoculars, a camera and footwear that can get wet. We’ll meet in the breezeway at the Paddy’s Creek Area bathhouse at 2 p.m. To register, call the park office at 828-584-7728.
