Special Screening of State of Conflict by Bill Moyers and The Bus Stop Kick Off

Join Tate MacQueen, Candidate for NC’s 10th Congressional District, at Ben’s Tune up, where he will host a free, wall-size screening of Bill Moyers’ State of Conflict – North Carolina. Bill Moyers’ show, blocked from broadcast television, basic cable and DirecTV, examines the North Carolina political tug-of-war over social and economic issues between a conservative state government and progressive citizen protesters.

Following the screening, MacQueen will officially unveil the campaign tour bus, powered by renewable, local biodiesel fuel with solar features. The winning name of the “Name that Bus Contest” will be announced and tours of the bus will be offered before and after the show. In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Freedom Summer bus 1964-2014 will also serve as a mobile voter registration center.
