Paris of the South Flea Market & BoHo Boutique

5 Apr 2014 - 6 Apr 2014

Paris of the South Flea Market announces its opening day, Saturday April 5th, for the 2014 flea market season. This is the market’s second year at its current location of US Hwy. 70 and Lytle Cove Road (110 Lytle Cove Rd., Swannanoa, 28778). This year’s market will feature upcycled fashions by textile artist, Lonie Wenning under the “YaYa Originals” label which can be found at the on-site “BoHo Boutique” along with the works of other local artists including-Mathilda Tanner/Pottery, Vagabond Studios/Handmade Jewelry, Harper Leich/Paintings, Karen Craig/Patchwork Quilts & Crocheted wearable art and other local artists/crafters. Paris of the South invites local artists/crafters in the region to consider vending at the market/boutique.

Paris of the South will continue to offer “gypsy-style” sites for vendors on a first come basis on Saturdays and Sundays (vendor setup begins at 7am and the market opens at 8am). Also available are monthly spaces which will allow vendors to set up their own “shops” with 7 day-a-week access during daylight hours.

The Swannanoa site for the flea market/boutique will continue to provide an affordable venue for people to buy and sell products, new and used, upcycled and recycled and original pieces of art. The possibilities are endless for bargain and treasure hunters alike to find unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that support the wonderfully creative individuals that live and work in the area.

The flea market will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 8am – 3pm. beginning Saturday, April 5th. Vendor spaces are $15 per day.
