Call for Submissions - Writers and Activists, Actors and Musicians

Seeking writers, actors and musicians for a literary reading/performance taking place at the Anam Cara Theater Collective in West Asheville for June 22, 2013.

We need works of fiction, poetry and/or creative non-fiction to read, and would love to have musicians perform. If you’re a writer who does not like reading, we can match you up with an actor who doesn’t write.

The works must focus on animals/animal rights issues. Please send, as attachments, your original work to Wendy at simkha@riseup.net. Deadline for submissions is June 16.

Do your talents lean in other directions? Super! We’re also looking for people who will donate items for our silent auction; profits from the auction will help pay for animals in shelters and sanctuaries.
