Birdhouse Basket Workshop

Cost: $65 Non-MACA Member/$55 MACA Member (including materials). Create a small birdhouse and learn the twined method of weaving. Each participant will work with Carla's hand-dyed colorful reeds and learn an easy to master twined basket. Birdhouse design, basket tips and native materials will all be up for discussion as you create a Springtime favorite. Pre-registration is required by May 9 - call MACA on 652-8610. MACA is privileged to have Carla Filippelli teaching this one-day workshop. Carla and her husband Greg are members of the Southern Highland Craft Guild. They are also artists-in-residence in McDowell County Schools.
