WORLD BOOK NIGHT STORY SLAM
As World Book Night givers gather in anticipation to pick up their books, our Story Slam brings an opportunity to share the love of reading and stories. Inspired by the Moth and our local Synergy Story Slam, the Slam itself is a fun, fast-paced platform for sharing live storytelling. Our theme is "Do Tell: Stories of Sharing Stories." How it works is simple: Shape a personal experience (whether funny, sad, joyful or oddball) into a 5-minute story to tell. Our MC will draw tellers’ names out of a hat, stories will be timed, and a winner will be selected! All tellers receive a prize! Take our theme and stretch it to fit your story! Tell boldly or come to listen.
