For over twenty years, The Artist’s Way has proven to be one of the most enduring creativity approaches around. It has helped millions achieve their dreams. It has certainly helped me and it would be my pleasure to navigate your creative journey with you.
JULIA CAMERON SAYS
“James Navé is a passionate traveler and a compassionate companion to those he meets. His work as a poet, writer, and exemplar is an important force for change.”
WILL IT WORK?
One of the first questions most people ask when thinking about taking an Artist’s Way course is: “Will it work for me? The answer, is yes. All you have to do is commit to yourself and your dreams; show up; do the work; and you’ll get results.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Each week you’ll explore your creative possibilities through group discussions, Artist’s Way exercises and tools, and other creative areas like performance, vocal work, movement, form, and improvisational techniques, to name a few. This work will show you how to build your narrative, the story you want tell. Stand in your authentic authority, you are the author of you own story. Open your voice, how you tell your story. Engage your expansion, how far you want to go. When the course over, you’ll have all the tools you need for a long and prosperous journey on the path of your own artist’s way.
WHY TAKE THE COURSE FROM ME?
I first encountered The Artist’s Way in the fall 1994, when a friend recommended the book to me. By the winter of 1995, I found myself at an Artist’s Way workshop where I first met Julia Cameron. We had an instant creative connection and by that summer, Julia and I co-produced and co-taught the first of twenty Artist’s Way Creativity Camps.
Julia continues to encourage me in my work as Artist’s Way coach and facilitator. Two decades later, The Artist’s Way remains a vital anchor in my teaching and coaching practices. I have facilitated over thirty courses, including courses co-taught with Julia. I learned much from Julia over the years, most especially I learned that if you show up, do the creative work, and cultivate creativity in your life and in your community, the rest will take care of itsel
