Holly Goddard Jones Reading and Booksigning
28 Feb 2013
On Thursday, February 28, 7pm at Malaprop's Bookstore/Cafe, Holly Goddard Jones will present her first novel, The Next Time You See Me. In it, the disappearance of one woman, the hard-drinking and unpredictable Ronnie Eastman, reveals the ambitions, prejudices, and anxieties of a small southern town and its residents. Holly Goddard Jones’ work has appeared in The Best American Mystery Stories, New Stories from the South, and Tinhouse. The Next Time You See Me has been hailed as “astoundingly good,” by Gillian Flynn, author of Gone Girl. “Holly Goddard Jones writes with authority and a deep generosity about a large swath of humanity within a small town. . . The result is simply mesmerizing.” Ron Rash adds, “The Next Time You See Me gives readers all the pleasures of the best mystery novels as well as the finest literary fiction.”
This event is free and open to the public.
