Asheville Art in the Park again brings great art and support for the arts to Pack Square this October. As a sponsor of American Craft Week, the event allows only the participation of local and regional artists. “ There is so much great art and national talent here, there is no need to look anywhere else.” stated Andrew Montrie the founder and director of the festival. The event is now in its 4th season with event dates on consecutive Saturdays in June and October.

For the last 3 years artists have donated 10% of their sales at Asheville Art in the Park to local area non profits. This year the event is working with the Asheville Area Arts Council to create grants for local artists. 10% of every dollar spent at the market will go to fund this new grant opportunity. You can donate to the fund directly by contacting the Asheville Area Arts Council.
