Geneaology Workshop

This workshop includes advice on avoiding fraudulent information, using historic photos to identify people of interest, and how to use deeds, probate records and wills. Those without prior experience should go to www.familysearch.org to get acquainted with census records and ancestors’ death certificates before attending the workshop. Instructor is Edith Garrett, professional genealogy consultant. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Reuter Center, home of OLLI at UNC Asheville, formerly N.C.
