Sherry Jones Reading and Booksigning: Four Sisters, All Queens

On Tuesday, May 15 at 7 pm, Malaprop's Bookstore/Cafe will host a reading and booksigning by internationally bestselling author Sherry Jones, presenting her historical novel Four Sisters, All Queens. The story is set in 13th-century Provence, and the sisters eventually become queens of France, England, Germany, and Italy. Four Sisters, All Queens is, according to its author, “essentially about women's power, but it also explores issues of sisterhood, marriage, sibling rivalry (on a royal scale), religion, politics, and family amid the . . . cultural backdrop of the High Middle Ages, a time of exciting developments in architecture, art, philosophy, and music.”

This event is free and open to the public.
