Western North Carolina is rich in the performing arts, and MAIN is
pleased to offer original reviews of some of the many plays and musicals to hit the stages in our region.
Our team of volunteers brings a variety of perspectives:
- Geneve Bacon is a prize-winning author and life-long theater buff who recently received a grant from
the Asheville Area Arts Council for a research project connected with a novel-in-progress;
- David Hopes is a professor of literature at UNC-Asheville;
- Jess Wells is a graduate of the UNC-A Drama Department;
- Damian Keber is a graduate student in literature and art history at UNC-A and works at the Asheville Art
Museum
