»  Sultry Voices: To answer AAAC office phones, weekdays during business hours.

»  Exhibit Space: Galleries willing to donate space on a permanent or temporary basis. Please call 555-1211 or email director@aaac.org.

»  Advertising Space: Newspaper, radio, tv, or billboard advertising donations. Please call 555-1210 or email marketing@aaac.org.

A Closer Look: 

The Asheville Area Arts Council provides funding for artists and arts organizations through a competitive grants process; Providing scholarships in the arts to deserving high school seniors; Co-producing First Night Asheville with the City of Asheville and working with the City on its Urban Trail Committee and Public Art Committees; Implementation of an Arts in Education Plan to serve students in the Asheville City and Buncombe County school systems; Administering the Kids Tix Program to provide Buncombe county children tickets to cultural performances; Maintaining the community cultural calendar at www.ashevillearts.com; Exhibiting new and emerging artists in the Front Gallery; Serving as the umbrella organization for Buncombe County cultural agencies and as an advocate for the arts.
