ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Work begins Monday on the new city bus station in Asheville.
A release from the city says some of the buses will load on Asheland Avenue. On Tuesday, ticketing, bathrooms and passenger waiting areas will be moved to temporary mobile units.
The city approved $1.8 million to fund the ART transit facility renovation project in July.
The first phase of renovations replaced the stom water drains in the bus lanes and sidewalks.
