Arrest made after Tuesday night shooting in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The Asheville Police Department confirms a juvenile has been charged in connection with a shooting on Haywood Road Tuesday night.

Authorities say, at approximately 8:30 p.m. on August 4, 2020, the Asheville Police Department responded to 495 Haywood Road after reports of individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

CONNECTING THE SHOTS: SHOOTING INCIDENTS RATTLE WEST ASHEVILLE NEIGHBORHOODS

Upon arrival officers located two victims, uninjured, who reported that a black male approached their vehicle and began shooting. Officers located three shell casings in the parking lot, near the vehicle.

MAN CHARGED IN DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE, FIRING SHOTS INTO APARTMENT

Because the individual charged is a juvenile, no other information regarding the identity will be released.
