BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A man accused of breaking into an Asheville church and hiding in its crawl space faces more than two dozen charges in Buncombe County related to separate break-ins and thefts.
According to a Facebook post by the sheriff's office, Bradley David Quick faces 29 charges after a months-long investigation that started in January.
After executing three search warrants, authorities say Quick stole more than $10,000 worth of property during the break ins. Deputies said the stolen property was then sold or pawned to multiple shops in Buncombe County. Most of the property has since been recovered and returned to the victims.

Quick is also accused of stealing personal checks and using them to rob more than $3,500 at several financial institutions in Buncombe County.
"Thank you to our detectives for pursuing this lengthy investigation in order to recover stolen property and return it to the rightful owners," Buncombe County Sheriff Quentin Miller said in a written statement.
Quick now faces the following charges:
On April 2, Asheville police say Quick was found hiding in a crawl space after a reported break in at Asheville Bible Church.

Police were also looking for Quick back in January when the department named him as a suspect in a break in along Kensington Drive in east Asheville.
