The investigation continues after human remains were found in Polk County Friday night.

Deputies have charged Jeremy Bradshaw with concealing a death and obstruction of justice.

They say after months of investigating a missing persons report for Karen Jenkins, they were led to Bradshaw. In an interview with deputies, Bradshaw acknowledged that he put Jenkins' body in an abandoned well on his family's property along Old Highway 19 in Columbus.

The cause of death is still under investigation, and deputies say they are still awaiting positive identification of the remains.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a report at the end of January from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office that Jenkins was missing. During the course of the investigation, deputies discovered she was in a relationship with Bradshaw.

Captain B.J. Bayne says two search warrants were conducted, one on the property where the remains were found and one at Bradshaw's home.

Bradshaw is currently being held in the Polk County Jail under a $50,000 bond.

Other charges could be forthcoming pending further investigation.
