The rides, games, and exhibits of the North Carolina Mountain State Fair will open September 8; that's just around the corner! Here is your opportunity to join in all the fun and excitement.
You can enjoy a complimentary day at the fair and help North Carolina public television all at the same time. UNC-TV will once again have a booth at the Mountain State Fair, September 8-17. UNC-TV's exhibit will be twice the size of the 1999 booth, so they need your help. Volunteers will receive a complimentary North Carolina Mountain State Fair entrance ticket. UNC-TV's statewide public television network provides information and entertainment to 2.3 million viewers weekly. To educate, enrich, and inform is the founding principle for UNC-TV, which
