Mountain Area Information Network

Many thanks to our donors!

A tax-deductible donation qualifies you to become a Friend of MAIN. Any amount would greatly help our efforts to make the Internet a community and economic development tool for Western North Carolina. Your contribution can make an incredible difference - it can help a homeless family find an apartment, it can help someone who primarily speaks Spanish get access to life-saving information in his or her own language, and it can help us continue to provide Western North Carolina citizens with access to vital information to keep pace with the rest of the United States and the world.

There are many ways to support our work. You can even make a secure donation directly from this webpage. However you decide to help, your generous contributions make it possible for the Mountain Area Information Network to provide an array of services to individuals and local businesses, as well as to government agencies and social service nonprofits.

For 10 years, the Mountain Area Information Network has evolved through grassroots efforts and networking to promote local economic development and quality of life support through solid partnerships with area Chamber of Commerce organizations, municipalities, environmental organizations, healthcare agencies, as well as artists, musicians, among many others. Thanks to the generosity of many folks in Western North Carolina, MAIN continues to provide and expand Internet services to areas that cannot get broadband Internet, or where local citizens and businesses prefer to support local, community-oriented enterprises.
