Linda Carter joins WCCA as children's services director

Western Carolina Community Action is pleased to announce that Linda W. Carter has joined its team in the role of children’s services director.

Carter has a master’s degree in Business Administration and 16 years of nonprofit experience including program development, evaluation and administration, strategic planning, grant writing and budgeting.

She is a longtime Henderson County community volunteer, serving on boards, advisory councils and a variety of committees. She is a Hendersonville Civitan member.

Western Carolina Community Action assists low-income and underserved populations of Western North Carolina to help them achieve their full potential through advocacy and quality services such as: Head Start and Early Head Start, Housing Programs, Public and Human Services, Transportation, Programs for Older Adults and Self-Sufficiency.
