PORT JERVIS - As a result of the very popular late-afternoon Adult Coloring Hour, the Public Computer Center (The Hub) at the Port Jervis Free Library is adding a second Adult Coloring Hour to be held during the lunch hour from noon to 1 p.m. starting Feb. 24 and meeting every other Wednesday.

In addition to crayons, markers, and colored pencils, participants can bring a covered beverage, soup, salad, or cold sandwich and enjoy coloring while they eat lunch.

This, like the late afternoon edition, will be hosted by Hub trainer Elaine Votraw, who says coloring is a great way to unwind and relax. She says the health benefits include exercising fine motor skills and training the brain to focus.

There is no charge for attending, but registration in advance is requested at 856-7313, ext. 5, or at thehub@portjervislibrary.org. This will allow the Hub to have enough tables and chairs available. If you do not have a coloring book, trainers at The Hub can help you find just the right picture online.

The Port Jervis Free Library is at 138 Pike St., Port Jervis.
