Trojans look to improve heading in to district round

It's been a long couple of weeks for the Las Animas Trojans as several league teams have stifled their campaigns despite their best efforts and hardcore coaching from the Trojans' staff.

Their record, now 2-13, has included losses to Rye, SCA, and Hoehne. The last two weeks of the regular season has the Trojans facing Rye, John Mall and Fowler. A win against one of these three could boost their seeding in the Santa Fe League and their opponent in the district pigtails in two weeks.

Stats are unavailable from the past three weeks from the Trojans.

Games this week are at Rye on Thursday, Feb. 11, at 5 p.m. and Walsenburg on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 5 p.m.
