Reward for information in fatal hit-and-run
A reward is being offered for information in last week’s deadly hit-and-run accident on U.S. 15.
U.S. Marine Cpl. William Ferrell was hit and killed when he stopped to help a disabled motorist during heavy rain at 10:50 p.m. Sept. 29, according to Maryland State Police in Frederick.
The hit-and-run vehicle is a heavy duty pickup or a truck tractor pulling a car hauler trailer.
Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.
