Rochester resident to compete for Songbook Youth Ambassador Award

Adam Kruschwitz, of Rochester, will compete for the Great American Songbook Youth Ambassador Award on Aug. 29 at the Palladium.

Kruschwitz, a senior at Brighton High School, is one of 10 finalists selected after a week of workshops and practices at the Songbook Academy.

The recipient of the award will perform with two-time Emmy- and five-time Grammy Award-nominated entertainer and founder of the Great American Songbook Foundation, Michael Feinstein.
