Shooting suspect taken into custody in Woodfin

WOODFIN, N.C. (WLOS) — The U.S. Marshal’s Regional Fugitive Task Force and Buncombe County SCET Team apprehended a wanted fugitive Tuesday.

ARMED & DANGEROUS: WOODFIN POLICE ASK PUBLIC TO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SHOOTING SUSPECT

Police said Bradley Allen Hudgens was involved in a shooting on July 14. Authorities had been searching for him since then.

Warrants accuse Hudgens of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill against one person, assault by strangulation of another person, and communicating threats.

According to a news release from the Woodfin Police Department, Hudgens was captured and taken into custody without incident.
