A man arrested in North Carolina at the end of May is accused of making threatening posts and internet searches related to killing Joe Biden, ABC affiliate WSOC reports.

Alexander Treisman, 19, was arrested after investigators found a van at a Kannapolis bank with explosive materials, an AR-15 style rifle, a handgun and ammunition, according to court documents obtained by WSOC.

The Kannapolis Police Department was asked to tow the van from the bank, and documents show investigators searched the van and found items including more than $509,000 in cash, books about making bombs and improvised weapons, along with additional guns.

Officials say Treisman showed up in a car at the bank looking for the van and was taken into custody. Upon searching that car, court documents report that two additional guns were found, as well as three driver's licenses in his wallet from multiple states.

Treisman was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, officials say, and police contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Investigators report they searched his devices and accounts, including social media and gaming platforms; they say video and images of child pornography were found on several devices.

The documents say internet searches between March and May show “information about Joe Biden’s home address, state gun laws, rifle parts, and night vision goggles."

According to the documents, Treisman posted a meme about killing the Democratic presidential nominee, purchased an AR-15 in New Hampshire and traveled to a fast-food eatery within 4 miles of Joe Biden’s home. He also reportedly wrote “a checklist note ending with ‘execute,’” the documents say.

Officials add that Treisman is only facing child-pornography-related charges, but WSOC reports a judge cited this evidence for why he should remain in custody.
