Asheville man accused of stealing more than $1,600 in quarters

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Asheville police arrested a local man after he was accused of stealing more than $1,600 in quarters.

Ryan Dschak, of Asheville, is charged with possession of stolen goods/property.

Police said the 35-year-old took $1,627 in quarters from a Leicester woman. The arrest warrant said the theft occurred last month, but it does not say how he did it or why.

Dschak was jailed in the Buncombe County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
