Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of Donald Trump’s eldest son and a key fundraising official for the president’s re-election campaign, has tested positive for the coronavirus. The test result came back Friday shortly before she was set to attend a Fourth of July event at Mount Rushmore. Guilfoyle has no symptoms and was reportedly the only person in the group she was with to test positive. Donald Trump Jr. has tested negative so far.

“After testing positive, Kimberly was immediately isolated to limit any exposure,” Sergio Gor, chief of staff for the Trump Victory Finance Committee, said. “She’s doing well, and will be retested to ensure the diagnosis is correct since she’s asymptomatic but as a precaution will cancel all upcoming events. Donald Trump Jr was tested negative, but as a precaution is also self-isolating and is canceling all public events.” Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. will drive back from South Dakota to the East Coast, a source tells the New York Times.

Guilfoyle, who many in the Trump orbit see as a member of the First Family, has reportedly not had any recent contact with the president. She did attend the rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last month. Several campaign staff and Secret Service personnel have tested positive for the coronavirus since that rally. Herman Cain, the former Republican presidential hopeful who was also at the rally, was hospitalized with the coronavirus on Wednesday.

Although Guilfoyle may not have had direct contact with the president in recent days, she was around a lot of his supporters. Guilfoyle had not traveled on Air Force One as she and Trump Jr. were in the upper Plains region hosting fundraisers over the past few days. Guilfoyle has “been with a lot of the campaign donors” recently, a source tells CNN. She was at an event in Montana that lasted from Tuesday until Thursday and another one in South Dakota from Thursday to Friday. Sources tell CNN Guilfoyle was not seen wearing a mask at either of the events. Earlier in the week, Trump Jr. published a meme on Facebook that implied homemade masks aren’t useful to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

People close to the president are regularly tested for the virus and Guilfoyle is now the third person who was possibly in close proximity to Trump to have contracted the coronavirus. A member of the Navy who serves as one of Trump’s personal valets tested positive in May as did Vice President Mike Pence’s press secretary.
