Asheville police: Couple may be behind 'numerous thefts'; potentially armed and dangerous

ASHEVILLE - Police are asking for public help locating a couple officers say might be behind thefts in and around the city.

Dennis Gates Miller, 26, is a white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds, a release from police said Monday afternoon.

Hope Elizabeth Baker, 35, is a white female with blonde hair and green eyes. She is about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds.

"The two should not be approached as they are to be considered potentially armed and dangerous," the release said.

Along with being "persons of interest" in numerous thefts, police say they have multiple outstanding warrants, several of which are for felonies.
