Summertime in Cherokee County
June 15th through September 15th. Summer turns the bold beauty of the rugged mountains to emerald green. Golfing,
fishing, and boating become favorite activities at this time. America's oldest wagon train is the highlight of the Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. Nighttime temperatures range from 55 to 65 degrees, with daytime temperatures ranging from 70 to 80 degrees. Afternoon thundershowers are common.

September 15th through December 15th. Fall announces the arrival of the leaf season.
