Mitchell County Animal Shelter is collecting used ink jet and laser cartridges, and old cell phones (working or not) for re-cycling for cash for the homeless pets at the shelter. Items may be left at The Animal Shelter 2492 Hwy 19-E Spruce Pine, Blue Moon Book Store or The Galllery Upstairs in Bakersvile. For more info call Patricia at 828-766-7348.
