Meet the people changing our food system and taste the flavors of summer in the mountains, one bite at a time.

On August 18, 5:30-8:30 pm at Highland Brewing Company, experience the dynamic connections between farmers, chefs, and artisan food producers by sampling Appalachian Grown local foods and meeting the faces of the region’s local food system. Enjoy local food tastings and small plates from local producers and restaurants including, Looking Glass Creamery, Sunburst Trout Farms, Waynesville Soda Jerks, Imladris Farm, Green River Picklers, French Broad Chocolates, HomeGrown, and more. There will be family friendly activities, and a silent auction offering exclusive local food experiences, including farm stays, winery tours, private dinners, and more. Ticket Information: Tickets are $20 and include food and non-alcoholic beverage tastings. Highland beer will be sold separately. $10 reduced price tickets are also available for children 12 and under at the door. Purchase your tickets at asapconnections.org.
