MAD DIVAS JUNIOR DERBY HOSTS THE COLUMBIA QUAD SQUAD

On May 7, 2016, the Mad Divas Junior Derby team (ranked #27) will compete with the Columbia Quad Squad (ranked #13) in a bout at the U.S. Cellular Center in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. This bout will be the first of three bouts to take place on May 7th. The Mad Divas bout will begin at 3 p.m., and be followed by a bout featuring the Blue Ridge French Broads and Counterstrike Greensboro Roller Derby at 5 p.m. Finally, the Blue Ridge All Stars will skate against the Rogue Rollergirls at 7 p.m. Children 10-years-old and younger will receive free admission.

The Mad Divas, along with the Blue Ridge Rollergirls, will be honoring Our Voice as their chosen charity for this bout. Our Voice seeks to create a community that is unburdened by sexual violence. The charity provides services to any individual in Buncombe County that has been affected by sexual assault and abuse.
