Folkmoot USA is the official international folk festival of North Carolina. Each year nine folk dance groups come from countries all over the world to stay in Waynesville, NC and perform all over WNC. The Parade of nations on July 17 and the International Festival Day on July 18 both take place in downtown Waynesville, NC and are free Folkmoot USA events.
