GMO's (Genetically Modified Organisms) are crop plants that have had genes from other species - even animal species - integrated into their DNA. GMO's have deeply penetrated the nation's food supply. Outside of the organic food market, it is hard to find foods that do not have at least some GMO ingredients.

Are GMO's safe for human consumption? We don't know. The US Department of Agriculture has given politically influential corporations a bye on proving product safety. Initial independent studies have been attacked and their authors vilified. Government test results have been sequestered.

We do know that GMO crops have increased herbicide and pesticide use multifold. We do know that GMO's have greatly increased the profits and monopoly power of a few giant food corporations. We know that GMO's have perverted the natural evolutionary system and threaten the integrity of God's Creation.
