Join Annie and the Hot Club on April 25, 8pm at the Whitehorse Black Mountain for a dynamic evening of ‘Gypsy Swing with a Twist of Nashville’. Vocalist Annie Sellick, who won ‘Best Jazz Artist’ for five years from the Nashville media, mesmerizes audiences with her sizzling vocals, tells thrilling stories, shares her heart and celebrates simultaneously. The Hot Club pays homage to the Hot Club genre (Django-Reinhardt gypsy-swing) that brings fiery guitar and violin soloing on repertoire from the 1930's and 40's such as Honeysuckle Rose and Sweet Georgia Brown. Expect original material from the band as well - songs so reminiscent of an old swing standard that you would think they've been loved for decades.
