FILM: The Ultimate Wish: Ending the Nuclear Age

Tuesday April 14 -- Highsmith Student Center on UNCA campus. 6:30 p.m. This dynamic 40 minute film that is appropriate for those who do not know much about the history of the Nuclear Age -- the story is told by a survivor of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki Japan in 1945 (by the USA)...and includes discussion of nuclear energy as well, in the wake of the Fukushima Daiichi catastrophe.

No fee. A discussion after the screening will be lead by Allison Hargus, UNCA senior and intern at Nuclear Information and Resource Service. Dot Sulock (UNCA) and Mary Olson (NIRS) will join that discussion as panelists.
