"Shining a Light on a New Generation of Solar Cells"

The development of next-generation solar cells will be the topic discussed by Warren Wilson College physics professor David Coffey, Ph.D., at the Feb. 10 meeting of Sigma Xi – The Scientific Research Society. The meeting, free and open to the public, begins at 7 p.m. in Room 210 of Morse Hall in the Hamill Science Center.

Coffey’s talk is titled, “Shining a Light on a New Generation of Solar Cells.” He will discuss his research of next-generation solar cells and nanomaterials at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the startup Nano-Terra, and the continuation of that work at Warren Wilson
