Thanksgiving is almost here so why not take and invigorating hike to stretch your legs and remove some of the guilt of overindulging. Ranger Earl Weaver will be your guide on this moderate, 2-mile trek along the lakeshore. On the journey, he'll point out all types of plants, trees, mammals and birds, and review the history of Lake James and its surroundings. Meet at the Paddy's Creek Area bathhouse breezeway at 10 a.m.
