Christians for a United Community is sponsoring an evening with Jack Shuler, author of The Thirteenth Turn: A History of the Noose, at First Congregation Church (20 Oak St in downtown Asheville), Tuesday, October 14th, 7 p.m. Shuler will focus attention on the history of lynching in U.S. history. This event is free and open to the public.
