Join the heartful, wildly inspiring, compelling song writer and mind bending poet, Jeff Thompson for his cd release celebration for his latest recording titled ‘So Far, So Strange’ on Friday December 5th, 8:30 pm at the Isis Restaurant and Music Hall in Asheville, NC. Thompson (winner of a Mountain Xpress Best of WNC award in the singer/songwriter category) steadfastly delivers numerous artistic lexes derived from life’s experiences, his keen and clever observations and then harmoniously combines them seamlessly with vibrant melodies and grooves, spot on vocals and a wink of humor to encourage us to explore and embrace our human complexities and vulnerabilities. Thompson will be joined by his all-star band, The Outliars featuring Aaron Price, keys and backing vocals, Patrick Armitage, drums, Michael Hynes, bass, and Duane Simpson, lead guitar.
