"Ethical Heroes – From Jacob Riis to Eleanor Roosevelt"

Celebrating the founding of the Ethical Culture movement in 1876 "Ethical Heroes – From Jacob Riis to Eleanor Roosevelt" will be presented in reader theater style at the Sunday, May 20th meeting of the Ethical Society of Asheville, 2:00-3:30 PM, at the Friends Meeting House, 227 Edgewood Road in North Asheville (off Merrimon Avenue near UNCA) . This is a new meeting location. This play written by a member of the Ethical Society of Boston, Stanley Wayne, features seven ethical heroes and will be performed by members of the Ethical Society of Asheville. There will be a discussion period following the presentation. Following the meeting, there will be time for informal conversation. All are welcome! The Ethical Society of Asheville is a humanist, educational, philosophical, non-theistic alternative to traditional religions.
