Recognizing African-American History Month
"Another History: Asheville Through the Ages" will be presented by a panel of native Western North Carolinians and long time residents including Oralene Simmons, Johnnie Grant and Renee White. They will share their first-hand perspectives of Asheville's African-American community at the Sunday, February 19th meeting of the Ethical Society of Asheville, 2:00-3:30 PM, held at the YMI Cultural Center, 39 South Market Street in the Ray Auditorium. There will be a discussion period following the presentation. Following the meeting, there will be time for informal conversation. All are welcome!
