Our meetings are usually held the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm.
The next meeting of the Blue Ridge Metal Detecting Club will be on February 17th at 6:30 pm at Maranatha Baptist Church in the fellowship hall. The church is located at 2511 Old Spartanburg Highway in the East Flat Rock community just south of Hendersonville right off the Spartanburg Highway or Highway 176. It is beside the Blue Ridge Fire Department.
We used to have our meetings there a few years ago and have permission to do so again. If you need further instructions on how to get there just let me know. Bring your finds that you have found since our November meeting and also your entries for the contest. If you haven't joined and paid your club fee yet, we will be collecting it at this meeting.
Remember, you don't have to join to attend, only to vote or participate in the contest and in the door prize. If you know someone who is interested in our hobby, please invite them to attend. If you would like to be the speaker and do a presentation on a subject about our hobby, let me know. If you have magazines or books you would like to share with the club or have pictures of yourself hunting please feel free to bring them along to the meeting.
Remember, we will be taking donations at any time for the upcoming club hunts and it's a good way to earn points for the end of the year awards in November. Lots to talk about. If you have any questions, contact Haskell.
