MAIN is pleased to present book reviews by local critic KNS Maré (nom de plume).
KNS Maré is an insatiable reader who was severely disabled in The First Culture War of 1979-1986. For his suffering, he received a Bachelor of Special Studies with honors in both English Literature and Philosophy, and a Master of Arts in English Literature. He has contributed numerous critical essays to both local and national sources of print media on virtually a pro bono basis, much to his chagrin. He has lived in Western North Carolina, full-time, since 1988.
