We live in Elijay Township, between Franklin and Highlands in
Macon County.

DSL service peters out about 2000 feet down the road from our
location. The 20 or so homes beyond that point do not have access
to DSL service. There is no cable TV within miles.

Even if DSL had the range to reach this area, it would not matter,
as Frontier is out of "slots" in its "DSLAM" equipment located down
on RT. 64 and has shown no interest in adding capacity.

The luck few persons here with a clear view to the south can install
(very expensive) and inadequate satellite internet service. The remainder are stuck in the world of dial-up modems running at half
speed on a dry day.
